Pray today for someone you hold in your heart:
Today we pray for People who need you God, show them the way to a healthier life and comfort those who are homeless and need shelter from the cold winter days.

Proverbs 4:23 – Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (NIV 2011)
Holy God: If we say we love you but hate others, our heart is hard. If we cry out for you to help others, but we refuse to help them, our heart is not one of love. If we tell others they must forgive to be forgiven but we refuse to forgive, our hearts again are not right with God. Our actions speak so much louder than our words. Guarding our hearts is a struggle but worth the battle. Keep our hearts pure in lending a hand and help to those around us most in need - a visit to the lonely; a meal for the hungry; clothing for the cold or naked; comfort to the grieving and hope to the down-hearted. Our help is needed by others and we should let our hearts be directed to help as we can. All in the name of the one we serve Jesus. Amen. !
