February 22nd Speaker- Ted Baker-Have a talk and walk with Jesus

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. — John 1:1-2 (NIV)

 

Holy God:  You are the Alpha and the Omega -the beginning and the end.  From before the beginning of creation, you were yet God.  After the end of life as we know it here, yet you are still God.  Your Word is to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.  We ask for the desire to be in Your Word so that we are in You.  

 

The world we have so surely trusted in has been disappointing and alarming us lately. We do not understand what is happening but we know you see the hidden things that create the confusion about these matters.  Please give us the peace to wait for answers and clarity.  

 

We ask for breakthroughs for the captives and prisoners; for the hungry and homeless; the sick or dying; the lonely or grieving; the widows and orphans; the poor or bankrupt.  In a world that loves the lovely, help us to love the unlovely.  In the name of Jesus, we pray.
